Tony Poole, the host of the Jazz First podcast from Valencia, Spain, recently curated new Afro-Cuban, Latin, and Brazilian jazz releases for a special worldwide jazz mix (embedded below). Atmospheric Trio's "Slither and Shake" was featured alongside great records from amazing international artists, such as Ginger Johnson, Ebo Taylor, Isao Suzuki, Matters Unknown, and Timo Lassy.


Tony Poole is a former BBC jazz radio host and ex-promoter, most notably of the San Javier International Jazz Festival (Spain) for several years. He contributes jazz album reviews, as well as his podcast, to AllAboutJazz.com.
